Excess soluble impurities and improper air circulation

Generally occurs only with hot units. If fresh air is allowed to pass over the basket during extraction, the solvent will evaporate, causing the formation of dark spots similar to the perforation pattern of the basket. |
Be sure dampers are seated properly or not held open by an accumulation of lint. Loading door should close tightly. If necessary, distill on the basis of 4-6 gals/100 lbs clothes.
